Celebrating 40 Years: Aug. 24 Anniversary Celebration Presented by Biltmore®

What began as a spark of an idea 40 years ago is now MANNA FoodBank – the largest hunger relief organization in Western North Carolina, distributing an astounding 300 MILLION lbs. of food since 1983! This year, we are celebrating 40 years of involving, educating, and uniting people in the work of ending hunger in our region, and we want you to Save the Date for a celebration of this milestone!

MANNA’s 40th Anniversary Celebration, presented by Biltmore®, will take place on Thursday, Aug. 24, from 5-9PM at The Orange Peel in Downtown Asheville. With big plans for a MANNA through-the-decades dance party and a celebration of the community of people and partners who have made this work possible, this event will be a true “party with a purpose” you won’t want to miss.

Tickets go on sale in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for more information!

Do you have memories or pieces of MANNA memorabilia to share? We’re gathering stories, memories, photos, and video testimonials from you, our community of supporters, partners, volunteers, and neighbors.
